12:30:03: This has been one of those years. The -30- computer went down. Though the site went on living, email service and the ability to work on new issues was hindered for a long time. The "personal" has ruled my life, and thus dash30dash has had to suffer through it. That's just the way with little mags.
But We're back, and just in time for the new year.
Dash30dash has some new features:

  • including a daily updated comic strip Fifthteenacross
  • We've started to offer dash30dash.com Merchandise
  • We've for the first time created a page to ask for your help. One of the things that keeps dash30dash.com from constant maintenance and updates has been funding. So you now have the chance to help us out. We now have a Donation Page even if you donate a small amount, a dollar or two it helps us pay for: web space, design work, scripting/codes and a lot more. Thank you in advance for any amount. Every penny helps.
  • Last but not least dash30dash is bringing on volunteer reporters to bring news from all over the country. If you're involved in your local art scene, you knw where all the hip galleries are, you're friends with lots of artists and are interested in seeing your words put in print online drop us a line at reporters@dash30dash.com Introduce yourself, let us know what area you're in and give us a list of the potential articles you'd write.

In addition to reporters we are once again looking for a Poetry Editor. This is an unpaid position, but for the right person it is an excellent chance to pad your resume and show your talent. Drop us a line at Staff@dash30dash.com

I hope you've all had a happy holiday, and may the new year bring you something special.

Sincerely.

-Samuel Graber
